15 or 30 Hour Codes
If your child is due to start at our nursery from September and you think as a working parent you are eligible for 2 year old funding (15 hours term time) or 30 hours of nursery funding for 3 and 4 year olds, you MUST apply for your code before 31st August to ensure your funding can start from 1st September. However, we will need to check codes before the end of the summer term so please let us have your code before 30th June. You can check your eligibility here.
You should apply for your code even if you don’t think at this stage you want to use it. Things might change and the code is only valid from the term after you apply.
For example:
- Apply for your code and receive it by 31st August - use it from 1st September onwards
- Apply for your code and receive it by 31st December – use it from 1st January onwards
Please note, parents are required to re-confirm funding codes every three months. You may be prompted by HMRC via text message and or email. We also recommend keeping a diary note to do this. If your code is not re-confirmed, we will be unable to claim funding on your behalf and you will be invoiced privately for the sessions.
