Safeguarding
Safeguarding Statement
Kilnwood Vale Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
All staff (including supply staff, volunteers and our SSB) must ensure that they are aware of the school’s child protection policy and procedures (available under Information > Key Information and Policies > School Policies). Every member of staff must attend annual training. Parents and carers are welcome to read our policy which is available on our website or via the school office.
The best interests of the children will always be our priority. As such, there are times in which we will need to record, monitor and share information with other agencies. We will share concerns about our pupils with the child’s parents/guardians unless we have reason to believe that such a move would not be in the child’s best interests.
GLF Schools is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The Policy is followed by GLF schools and Kilnwood Vale Primary to safeguard and promote the welfare of our children. Everyone employed by GLF Schools has a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in their care.
Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy is available on our website. It can be located here: Information > Key Information and Policies > School Policies
