Attendance & Registration
At Kilnwood Vale, we believe that for children to make progress they must attend school punctually every day. Our aim is that there should be no unauthorised absences and every child should aim for 100% attendance. The school’s attendance policy will be on the school website and available to parents online. We will reinforce our expectations of children’s attendance and punctuality in the following ways:
- Parent information sessions
- Assemblies
- Parents’ information evenings
- Parents’ evenings
- Regular newsletter coverage regarding attendance and punctuality.
Recognition and reward for 100% attendance and acknowledgement of improvements in attendance with children and parents/carers.
